Our Mission
Across the globe, many young professionals lack opportunities and access to education and vocational training. Also, women compose nearly two-thirds of the world's 875 million illiterate adults; girls compose nearly two-thirds of the world's 100 million children with no access especially to primary education.
In 2005, FIBS is launching a special initiative to combat this inequality by providing education and vocational training programs for disadvantaged and at-risk individuals throughout the United States and Brazil.
